On December 14, 2023, Champlain College was named Cyber Security Guide’s #1 online cybersecurity degree program.

Cyber Security Guide curated its “best of list” in response to the “exploding demand for cybersecurity professionals and the need for accessible education,” According to the site in a recent press release.

Following Champlain in the ranking were Drexel University and Norwich University. “This initiative reflects our commitment to making cybersecurity education more accessible and attractive with the goal of helping to prepare the next generation of cybersecurity experts for the challenges of a digital world.” the site reported.

Cyber Security Guide is a site dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and up-to-date information on cybersecurity education and careers. Graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, admission rates, and tuition costs were all considered when determining the rankings of each program. All schools on the list also had to be deemed a Center for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity by the National Security Agency.

Champlain College has won many other accreditations for its online programs, including being designated among the best schools with accelerated bachelor’s degrees by Intelligent.com and ranked among the Best Online Bachelor’s Degrees by US News & World Report.
